A SPECIAL INVITATION FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE VERMONT FEED DEALERS
Dear Fellow Industry Members,
The Vermont Feed Dealers and Manufacturers Association has been providing a service to the agricultural industry in Vermont for 77 years. We strive to be a voice in this industry and as members we service the agriculture community by providing feed, seed, fertilizer, supplies and education about this vital industry.
Once again our organization is continuing our commitment to bring you fresh perspectives on the survival of the agricultural industry in Vermont. The continued unfavorable market prices hooked together with devastating weather conditions have made for an outlook even the most optimistic person would have to agree is gloomy.
So this year after our usual update from the University of Vermont by David Townson, we have invited Kim Bremmer, from Ag Inspirations, to give her thoughts on this year's theme which is "Challenges and Opportunities". We have also included local farmers to talk about how they have addressed these challenges by looking to opportunities to sustain the future of their business.
Please save the date and we ask that you make a commitment by supporting our organization both financially and personally.
See you in Essex in September!
